A fan went too far, praying Liv Morgan gets hurt because of the injury Rhea Ripley suffered; so, she destroyed the person with a NSFW remark.
Rhea Ripley walked into WrestleMania 40 already hurt. She powered through the pain and put on a great match against Becky Lynch. The title stayed with Ripley, but not for long as she was injured shortly afterwards. Therefore, she vacated the Women’s World Championship on RAW. She is expected to miss around 6 weeks, although that time could certainly be extended and WWE did want to take any chances.
The shoulder injury is believed to have occurred on the ramp as Rhea and Liv Morgan fought. Once Rhea was sent into the side wall, that is how she got hurt. It was not having a chair tossed at her head in the backstage area. By the time WWE ran that spot, Rhea was already in bad shape. There is no heat on Liv as it is simply being called a freak accident. Unfortunately, it ended Rhea’s year plus reign in the worst way possible.
Fans Go Too Far
Then, some fans went too far on social media. In particular, one person prayed Liv Morgan would get injured. Morgan snapped back on Twitter, with “Guys don’t be mad at him, he probably pleasures himself in his socks for a living.” Yes, she went there and good for her. There is no need in wrestling, or really anywhere, for such comments.
Remember, Morgan missed a large chunk of time over the past 12 months due to various injuries. She almost won the Royal Rumble Match, coming in second the previous two years. WWE could not find a spot for her at WrestleMania 40, but she is still way over. Eventually, Morgan and Ripley will meet in what should be a lengthy program. The only problem, is we need to wait a bit longer. So, was Liv Morgan in the right for trashing that troll for wishing injury upon her due to Rhea Ripley?
