Adam Page did not win gold at the Revolution pay per view and now “Hangman” looks to be taking a hiatus from AEW TV.

There were big questions heading into AEW’s Revolution pay per view. In particular, if “Hangman” Adam Page would take part.

An injury angle was run before the show as there were concerns he would not make the event. Instead, Page worked the triple threat, which was won by Samoa Joe.

In the process, Page seemingly turned heel with Swerve Strickland becoming a face.

On the first Dynamite since the PPV, there was no sight of Page. Fightful Select reports how Page will be off TV for a bit.

“Leading up to the match and for quite some time, word was that Hangman Page was set to take time off from AEW TV,” stated the report. “We aren’t sure specifically when that starts, but it was possibly set up by him attacking referees at Revolution.”

There is no word on why he is taking a break or for how long.

The former AEW World Champion was mentioned during the closing segment. Page and Kenny Omega were removed from The Elite by The Young Bucks (Matt Jackson & Nick Jackson).

Instead, Kazuchika Okada joined the group. As for Omega, he remains out of action due to diverticulitis.

Without Page on TV, it should allow Strickland another cack at the AEW Championship. The feud between those men really elevated the former WWE superstar.

I could see AEW pulling the trigger to let Stickalnd win. Then, another feud with Page could easily continue when “Hangman” is back.
