A new Tyson Fury training video this week unfortunately did not get the sort of response the heavyweight superstar probably expected as fans bashed the 35-year-old’s athletic prowess ahead of his return in May.

Tyson Fury will go down as one of the best heavyweight fighters of all time. It is a designation he has fairly earned by scoring wins over stars of his era like Deontay Wilder, Wladimir Klitschko, and even former UFC champion Francis Ngannou. And he has also built his legacy by breaking the mold of what a heavyweight champion usually looks like.

The Englishman is well known for his issues with the scale and not having the physique of contemporaries like Wilder, Ngannou, or countryman Anthony Joshua. However, it has never slowed down his ascendance into the top spot in the division. Next month he looks to solidify his case as the best heavyweight ever when he takes part in a unification clash against three-belt holder Oleksandr Usyk.

In preparation for the fight, Tyson Fury is attempting to get in the best shape of his life and recently posted a video to his Instagram of a recent workout where he was taking part in sled pushes and jump squats. Unfortunately, Fury did not impress the haters on the social media platform and was bombarded with some mean but funny comments about his athletics.

Tyson Fury does not look like a world-class athlete in new training video

“What the hell are those jumps,” Jared_Carne2006 wondered. “Not sure which is more worrying, how unimpressive this was or the fact they think it’s impressive enough to share with the world … Madness,” said Hollozavvi.

“There’s still time to delete this, champ,” Woozyness added with a laughing emoji. “As much as I like Fury I think it’s time to entertain us with his reality show rather than his boxing,” Stubert78 said in the comments section.

The video and all of the comments from Fury’s haters can be found above. Usyk is set to be the toughest test yet for the WBC champion who has suggested retirement multiple times in the past.
