As of now, he and LA Knight are locked in for a date in Philly, but AJ Styles won’t be wrestling much before WrestleMania.

Or, so says AJ Styles himself. Styles attacked LA Knight on SmackDown as a way to answer Knight’s challenge for a WrestleMania. The challenge stems from Styles showing up during the men’s Elimination Chamber match and taking out LA Knight.

Knight was not happy with how things went, and he’s announced his intention to get even on The Phenomenal One. And now, AJ has responded.

As covered by TJWrestling, it sounds like we won’t see AJ Styles doing too much of anything between now and WrestleMania. Possibly. Maybe. Or, maybe…just maybe…the former member of The OC is doing what a heel would do. You know…telling LA Knight he won’t be seen until WrestleMania…and of course, showing up whenever and wherever unannounced.

I will say this about that. Styles needs an exceptional showing at WrestleMania. He is overdue for a signature moment at the Showcase of the Immortals.

As for LA Knight? It’s an interesting position for him. Last year, Knight was enjoying a meteoric rise, but the trigger was never pulled. This year? There was a clear enough path for him to be challenging Logan Paul for the United States Championship. As we now know, that has not happened. Paul will be taking on Randy Orton and Kevin Owens…and now Knight and Styles are set to clash.

Both Superstars would surely love bigger and better stakes for a WrestleMania match. But…this is what they are getting for Philadelphia. Knowing what they are capable of, we have to wait and see if they put together a show stealing match. Such a win for either man could set them up for a big 2024.
