The wrestling world continues to reel after recent allegations surfaced about Vince McMahon’s sexual misconduct and sex trafficking of a WWE employee. Brock Lesnar was implicated in the report, and now WNZ has a major update about his future with the company.
Brock Lesnar’s Future With The WWE
Last week, yet another lawsuit was filed by a former WWE employee accusing both Vince McMahon and John Laurinaitis of sexual abuse and sex trafficking. Janel Grant filed the suit against both men and the company.
The lawsuit also reportedly accuses McMahon of sharing explicit photos of Grant, as well as a video of her urinating, to an unnamed talent the WWE was looking to re-sign. According to the Wall Street Journal, said wrestler was Brock Lesnar.
Due to this, it was reported that the Beast Incarnate was removed from the 2024 Royal Rumble. A new report from Fightful Select is stating that it’ll be a long while before fans see Lesnar back in a WWE ring.
The UFC Impact For Brock Lesnar
Brock Lesnar isn’t only a WWE guy, he also once worked for the UFC. If the Fightful report is accurate, then fans shouldn’t expect to see him there, either.
After all, both the WWE and UFC are now owned by TKO Group Holdings, under Endeavor. UFC CEO Dana White reportedly has a solid relationship with Endeavor CEO Ari Emanuel. Still, now with this controversy, Ari is doing all he can to erase the negative image Vince has left behind.
As per PWInsider, Emanuel could “clean house” when it comes to WWE employees who worked closely with Vince. This could be disastrous for anyone backstage labeled as a “Vince Guy”.
It’s no secret how high McMahon was on Brock Lesnar. Due to recent events, this could spell disaster for the former WWE Champion when it comes to his wrestling career.
