COMBATE GLOBAL has found a new home, agreeing to a deal with Latino-owned Fuse Media.

Fuse Media now become the exclusive English-language broadcast partner for the Hispanic MMA promotion beginning later this month.

The first event is set for Saturday, February 24 from Miami, Florida. As part of the agreement, Fuse will air eight live events between the spring and summer to celebrate Latino sports.

Through the deal, COMBATE GLOBAL will provide Fuse with the exclusive linear rights to 12 shows produced exclusively for the Fuse audience, featuring some of the biggest names in the promotion. Also, celebrity guest athletes, movie stars and musicians will be featured.

Over 500 hours of the COMBATE GLOBAL library will be distributed on Fuse Media’s El Rey Rebel FAST channel.

“Fuse Media is entering into an exciting new chapter by offering free, live, world-class professional MMA events to our viewers, and we couldn’t imagine a better partner to enter this space with than COMBATE GLOBAL,” stated Miguel Roggero, Chairman and CEO of Fuse Media. “This is a perfect marriage of two minority-targeted companies.

“COMBATE’s dedication to entertaining and catering to a young, diverse audience integrates seamlessly with Fuse’s own audience demographic.”

The promotion is led by UFC co-creator Campbell McLaren.

“COMBATE GLOBAL’s foundation and success has, to a great extent, been based on the growing Hispanic population in the U.S.,” McLaren said. “In naming Fuse Media our official partner, (the promotion) will now reach the entire spectrum of the Latino audience.”

The promotion has expanded in recent months, bringing in fighters from all parts of the world to compete.
