UFC president Dana White teased an announcement for UFC 300 on Wednesday night.

And he delivered.

White confirmed that Zhang Weili will defend her strawweight title against Yan Xiaonan. He also noted earlier in the night that two more fights will be announced on Thursday.

The marquee card takes place on Saturday, April 13 from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

It will mark the first time for an all-China title fight in UFC history.

The 34-year-old champion is in her second title reign, having scored a successful defense vs. Amanda Lemos this past August. She captured the belt with a submission ovs Carla Esparza.

Back in 2019, Zhang won the belt in her home country when she finished Jessica Andrade. She lost it to Rose Namajunas and was denied in a rematch.

Yan is coming off back-to-back wins over Andrade and Mackenzie Dern, with the Andrade win being a first round finish. Overall, she is 17-3 in her career.

UFC 300: Current Fight Card

Previously announced bouts include a lightweight title-eliminator pitting Charles Oliveira vs. Arman Tsarukyan.

Oliveira, a former UFC champion, earned a TKO over Beneil Dariush last June for his promotional-record 20th finish. His lone loss since 2017 came to Islam Makhachev for the vacant title in 2022.

Tsarukyan is also coming off a finish of Dariush, which pushed his win streak to three. He is 8-1 since a 2019 loss to Makhachev in his UFC debut.

Former light heavyweight champion Jiri Prochazka takes on Aleksandar Rakic, former bantamweight champion Aljamain Sterling meets Calvin Kattar and top prospect Bo Nickal tackles Cody Brundage.

Prochazka lost to Alex Pereira for the title in November after vacating the belt in 2022 due to injury. Rakic is a former Rizin champion.

Sterling will be making his featherweight promotional debut against Kattar, who is on a two-fight losing skid.
