UFC president Dana White has vowed to impress fans with the main event for UFC 300.
He just isn’t prepared to do so yet.
White promised that they are working hard on the upcoming marquee event, which takes place April 13 from Las Vegas.
At the moment, Zhang Weili vs. Yan Xiaonan and Justin Gaethje vs. Max Holloway are the marquee fights that have been announced.
“You guys can’t handle the main event,” White said (thanks to MMA Fighting for the quotes). “We’re working on a couple of different options. Trust me, the UFC 300 main event is going to be crazy.”
One rumored bout is Dricus du Plessis defending his newly-won middleweight title against Israel Adesanya.
Former champion Jessica Andrade vs. Marina Rodriguez has also been confirmed. Both are coming off defeats and looking to keep pace in the strawweight division.
