Triple H took part in the WWE Royal Rumble post-show media scrum, where he tried his best to not speak about Vince McMahon.
Triple H Avoids Answering Questions About Vince McMahon
Heading into the Royal Rumble, there was a dark cloud. That was because Vince McMahon had been accused of sexual trafficking days earlier.
Advertisers started pulling out, like Slim Jim. During SmackDown, new broke how Vince would immediately be totally leaving WWE and TKO.
With McMahon gone, the sponsors returned. Yet, someone was bound to ask about the allegations at the Royal Rumble post-show media scrum.
Triple H acted like he knew nothing and tried to switch focus towards the records from the show.
“What exactly do you expect me to do here?,” questioned Triple H. “We just had an amazing week, just had a 10 year, $5 billion deal.”
“The Rock joining our board, we sold out the Royal Rumble. I choose to focus on the positive.”
“Yes, there is a negative, but I just wanna focus on that and keep it to that.”
“I’ll give you the most generalized answer I can. Everything is possible.”
“That is a very important thing to us, a very important topic to us. It’s as simple as everything possible.”
“We all found out real time when you were. That’s the truth.”
“We’re at the most exciting time of the year for us and the most exciting point, to me, business-wise, that we’ve ever had.”
Cody Rhodes commented, stating he did not knew either.
It does seem tough to believe executives around Vince, like Triple H, did not know. It remains to be seen if anyone who worked with McMahon will also be gone.
So, does anyone believe Triple H had no knowledge of the horrendous acts being allegedly committed by Vince McMahon?
