According to PWInsider, Vega is the next talent to re-sign with the company. She recently sealed a multi-year deal with the WWE, although the exact length of the agreement was not disclosed.
Multiple sources from the WWE reportedly confirmed this contract renewal. Apparently, it took place just after the company was taken over by Endeavor.
While the details are not currently available, fans can rest assured knowing that Zelina will be with the WWE for years to come. This is great news for the WWE Universe and Vega, alike.
Zelina Vega’s Wrestling History
Vega was initially with Impact Wrestling, working under the name Thea Trinidad. She departed there in 2013 and spent some time on the Indies’ circuit.
In 2017, she signed a deal with the WWE and debuted in NXT. While she’s been with the company ever since she did have an eight-month hiatus at one point.
