There’s been a bit of a debate about Morgan’s recent arrest. Some believe it shouldn’t be considered a felony as many U.S. states have made changes to laws regarding the personal consumption of marijuana.
Still, as per a report from PWInsider, the reason Liv was stopped was because of erratic driving. Deputy E. Hillman’s arrest report notes that her arresting officer, Sgt. Otero saw Morgan’s car cross over the white and yellow lines on the road, a number of times.
He conducted a stop on the car to make sure the driver wasn’t having health issues. Sgt. Otero notes that as he approached the vehicle, he immediately smelled weed coming from the car.
