5 Bold WWE Crown Jewel 2023 Predictions, Including Shock Wins for Logan Paul and Solo Sikoa

With WWE Crown Jewel 2023 going down this weekend, we offer up a few bold predictions for some of the biggest bouts on the card in Saudi Arabia.

With WWE Crown Jewel 2023 going down this weekend, we offer up a few bold predictions for some of the biggest bouts on the card in Saudi Arabia.

Saturday afternoon (in the United States) will bring the latest edition of WWE’s yearly Crown Jewel event. Recent cards from The Kingdom have held a lot more weight and featured major matchups and storylines. This weekend’s edition is no different as the WWE World Heavyweight Title will be on the line when Seth Rollins takes on the challenge of former champion Drew McIntyre.

The Nov. 4 card in Riyadh will also see the return of “The Tribal Chief” Roman Reigns as he defends his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against ultra-fast-rising star LA Knight. Plus, there will be a pair of women’s title fights, Logan Paul is back to face Rey Mysterio for the United States title and Cody Rhodes will be back in action.

With all of that in mind, here are four bold predictions for Crown Jewel 2023, exclusively on the Peacock streaming service.

5 bold Predictions for WWE Crown Jewel 2023

Seth Rollins retains world heavyweight title, but just barely

The build for Rollins vs. McIntyre has been intriguing yet respectful. There have been no backstage attacks and the challenger wants to beat the champion at his best. That may not be how this story ends, but at least for one night, both will play it clean. In the end, the champion’s dodgy back will hold up and he will successfully defend his gold again.

However, expect this latest stinging championship defeat to set the stage for a heel turn by McIntyre and a gimmick rematch at WWE Survivor Series in November.

Logan Paul becomes the new United States champion

Logan Paul is one of the WWE’s best signings of the last five years. While diehards and purists may hate his addition to the roster, his mainstream appeal and notable fanbase are very important to the WWE. However, how he has handled himself in the ring, and especially on the microphone as a very hatable heel, is worth respect from wrestling fans.

With Paul having scratched his boxing itch recently, don’t be surprised if he is a consistent face on WWE television all the way up until Wrestlemania next year. That is why he will score a big upset and beat the legendary Rey Mysterio at Crown Jewel 2023.

Paul will be able to elevate the title in a unique way over the next few months and the person that finally beats him and ends the suffering of his detractors is the type of thing that will put butts in seats at future WWE events.

LA Knight will put a scare in Roman Reigns but come up short in WWE title bout

While many fans will hope for a historic moment at Crown Jewel 2023, Roman Reigns will walk into the event with the Universal title and walk out with it. That doesn’t mean the company won’t use the opportunity to further the rise of LA Knight. And that really is the purpose of this matchup.

Knight is headed to Riyadh to get the superstar rub from the biggest name in the business but also do the honors for “The Tribal Chief.” Knight will definitely come close to winning the Universal title on Saturday, but he will be turned away like many others great before him in the latest installment of this legendary title reign.

Cody Rhodes scores another win over The Judgement Day

Cody Rhodes vs. Damian Priest is one of the hidden gems at Crown Jewel 2023. The matchup should be fun and there is a built-in story as Judgement Day has been a thorn in “The American Nightmare’s” side for months. Nevertheless, expect Rhodes to score the victory and probably get some help from Jey Uso and Sami Zayn in the process as the JD will no doubt get involved in the bout.

Solo Sikoa hands John Cena another loss

After John Cena gave an emotional promo on Smackdown about not being the competitor he once was, and his recent losing skid, one would expect him to get a big win on Saturday. Well, that may not be the case once the bout goes down. Cena’s part-time run has been different than others — in a good way — because he is here to give back to the next generation.

While Cena is the “GOAT” there isn’t a lot of benefit to Sikoa taking a loss in this moment. Especially with his potential in future feuds with Reigns and as a champion. Chances are Sikoa gets an assist via a “hot route” from his brother Jimmy Uso and secures the biggest win of his young career over Cena on Saturday.
