In a surprise move, QT Marshall resigns from All Elite Wrestling (AEW). So, when will he be able to work elsewhere?
QT Marshall Calls It Quits From All Elite Wrestling
Marshall jumped on Twitter recently, posting a tweet about his departure from AEW. He notes that all obligations he has with the company will be fulfilled by the end of 2023.
In the post, he thanked both Tony Khan and AEW. He also states that he’s enjoyed being the VP, Manager of Talent Relations, and donning “a myriad of hats.”
Marshall goes on to note that the company has changed quite a bit over the years and is heading in another direction. He adds that he’s choosing to do this, as well.
QT thanks everyone in AEW in the tweet. Front the front office staff to the production team, and more.
He also expressed his thanks to the fans. Being there from “day 1” was clearly quite an experience for Marshall.
Marshall’s History In Wrestling
Marshall has been All Elite since 2019. He’s been an important figure backstage since the wrestling promotion began.
During his time with the company, he formed The Factory, had a feud with the “American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes, and teamed up with Dustin Rhodes. In 2023, he organized the QTV faction, aligning with Powerhouse Hobbs.
Recently, Marshall has wrestled for Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide and held the AAA Latin American title. Unfortunately, he dropped this championship at the TV tapings on Sunday, November 19th.
During his wrestling career, he’s worked for Ring of Honor and made WWE appearances, too. What’s next for QT Marshall?
It’s hard to say. Still, whatever he decides to do, WNZ wishes him all the best in the next chapter of his career.
