Update: Cora Jade’s Status With WWE NXT

The talent hasn’t been seen on WWE NXT television since July 25^th. WNZ offers an update on the superstar’s status with the company.

Cora’s WWE NXT Status Update

While the 22-year-old has been on hiatus, she has been on social media quite a bit. She recently took to X/Twitter to address fans.

Stop asking me to return to @WWENXT. It sucks there and I’m better than everyone. Ask me about something that’s worth my time. Im sick of it🤬

As you can see from the above tweet, she told fans to stop asking about her NXT return. She also tweeted during the October 10^th edition of NXT hinting about a possible comeback.

Still, despite this, she’s yet to make a return to WWE’s developmental brand. According to Bodyslam.net, NXT sources have stated that her been absent from tapings since she “walked out” of the August 1 edition of the show.

In addition, no timeline around a return has been offered. There’s also no word about a possible main roster call-up. Only time will tell when fans see the former NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion.

The Star’s Wrestling History

The young NXT star began wrestling training in 2018. It wasn’t long before she started making her mark in the industry.

In 2019, she made her wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) debut by participating in Impact’s Prelude to Glory. The star faced Havok and lost in a squash match.

Next, she became All Elite in October 2020 during a Dark episode, in a match against Red Velvet that she lost. The talent would come back to AEW for one more bout the following month that year, participating in a tag match where she partnered with Leyla Hirsch.

The two ladies faced Red Velvet and Brandi Rhodes but lost. In early 2021, she officially signed with the WWE, debuted on the January 22^nd episode of 205 Live, and would eventually start working within NXT.
