There are moments when a plethora of wrestlers are hurt and then most are alright. Right now, several wrestlers are out from AEW and WWE.

In particular, we are going to look at NXT’s Sol Ruca, AEW’s Bandido and ROH’s Mark Briscoe.

Sol Ruca went down with an ACL injury in May 2023, which was later revealed to be at the hands of Blair Davenport.

After surgery, Sol Ruca headed back to training. As for retuning this year, Sean Sapp noted, “She’s not expected back this year the last I heard. Wishing her a speedy recovery.”

Sol Ruca is still new to wrestling and NXT. Her unique style quickly made her a favorite with fans.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter stated that Bandido has been medically cleared for several weeks. He had to sit on the sides after breaking his wrist in June.

Not long before the injury, he finally resolved visa issues. Bandido, along with Dragon Lee, who signed with WWE, got the attention of Triple H and Tony Khan.

We will have to see if Bandido can continue the momentum he had before the setback. The former ROH World Champion already worked with top AEW names.

The past year saw Mark Briscoe loss his brother Jay Briscoe in a car accident. Together, they were the top tag team throughout their run in ROH and also traveled the world.

A knee injury caused Mark Briscoe to miss Death Before Dishonor back in July, where he was to challenge for the ROH World Championship. Since becoming a singles star, he has worked both AEW and ROH.

PWInsider stated Mark Briscoe is healed and training again inside the ring. His return could be coming soon.
