The PFL Europe playoffs continued Saturday, along with the promotional debut of Cedric Doumbe from Paris, France. In the main event, Doumbe finished Jordan Zebo with a left hook to secure the win.
PFL Europe Results: Strong Finish For Cedric Doumbe
The third PFL Europe event took place Saturday live on DAZN from the Zenith Paris in Paris, France.
In the main event, French native Cedric Doumbe finished Jordan Zebo. Just nine seconds into the welterweight bout, Doumbe caught Zebo, earning the knockout.
The event also featured the semifinals in the light heavyweight, bantamweight, lightweight and women’s flyweight season-long tournaments.
Just like at PFL, PFL Europe is run as a season with playoffs followed by the upcoming championship event.
Jakob Nedoh and Simeon Powell earned spots in the light heavyweight finale, as Nedoh finished Anthony Salamone and Powell downed Daniel Ladero.
Dakota Ditcheva advanced in the women’s flyweight division with Khurshed Kakhorov and Frans Mlambo doing the same at bantamweight.
Lightweight finalists will be Jakub Kaszuba and John Mitchell, as both scored decisions.
The finale will take place from the 3Arena in Dublin, Ireland later this year.
