Jimbo Slice steps back inside the cage this weekend for Combate Global when he takes on Christopher Ewert in the main event. The card airs live on Paramount+ from Miami.
Jimbo Slice Looks For Another Knockout Performance
With a nickname like Jimbo Slice, it is no wonder fans love tuning in to catch the unbeaten fighter in action.
The 27-year-old Jimmie Pace, Jr., also known as Jimbo Slice, takes on Christopher Ewert in the main event of the Combate Global card this Saturday.
All the action airs live on Paramount+ beginning with a special pre-show at 9 p.m. ET. Fights start 30 minutes later as Jimmy Smith and Rodolfo Roman call the action.
This will be the third fight for Slice in 2023, as he has dominated inside the Combat Global cage. In his most recent performance, he nearly set a promotion record for fastest finish when he clocked Boris Garcia in July in just 16 seconds.
A former professional football player, Slice has yet to be pushed past the first round as a pro and was never pushed past the second round in five amateur fights.
His opponent, Ewert, will be looking to make a name for himself. The 30-year-old from Chile scored a third consecutive first round finish when he bested Luis Avila in just 25 seconds this past March.
In flyweight action, Enrique Pacheco takes on unbeaten Ryan Ocasio.
Pacheco, who holds a brown belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu, a black belt in Tae Kwon Do and a red belt in Hapkido, is 7-1 overall. He is coming off a submission win over Michael Reyes this past March.
Ocasio, just 22 years old, is 4-0 and a former NCAA Div. I wrestler at The Citadel. He was also unbeaten as an amateur and is also coming off a submission win.
Alessandra Pajuelo faces Blanca Medina, Carlos Calderon fights Alejandro Gavidia and Sara Vieitez battles Fernanda Orellana in other main card action.
