John Cena Challenging Logan Paul At SummerSlam?
For John Cena, he will always love pro wrestling. Although, at this stage in his life, he knows his days inside the ring are numbered. Age is one factor and then there is the whole Hollywood career to juggle. Nowadays, fans are lucky to see Cena wrestle but there is talk of his next match.
John Cena challenging Logan Paul is something WWE has wanted to book for a while, according to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful.
Last year, around Survivor Series, WWE was going to have them fight at WrestleMania 39. Within a month, that idea was nixed.
Instead, Cena opened the pay per view by taking on United States Champion, Austin Theory. The champion did score the victory after a little bit of cheating.
Paul also competed on the same card, wrestling Seth “Freakin” Rollins. After getting embarrassed for a month, Rollins got revenge by earning the pin.
Since WrestleMania 39, Cena has returned to his busy life making movies. And, Logan Paul just returned to TV and announced his involvement in the Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match.
A match between the two would certainly get plenty of coverage from sites that do not solely focus on pro wrestling.
For Cena, it has been many years since he secured a singles win. He did claim a tag team victory to close 2022, meaning he has wrestled at least once in every single year he has been under the WWE name.
Logan tested the waters of WWE and they seemed very happy with his performances. Currently, going as a heel, Logan Paul seems to have found his spot.
So, is John Cena challenging Logan Paul at SummerSlam the right call by WWE?
