Jim Ross Suffers A Bad Fall Before AEW Collision Debut

Today is a big day for AEW. They are debuting a new two hour show and CM Punk is returning after the All Out brawl about nine months ago.

Collision will be the latest addition to an already packed week of pro wrestling. The first show comes from the United Center in Chicago and  we know the main event. Punk teams with FTR to battle Samoa Joe, Juice Robinson and Jay White.

AEW added some other bouts and we will see names return, but the selling point is Punk being back. Also, we know the announce team will consist of Kevin Kelly, Jim Ross and Nigel McGuinness. It will mark the first time those three call a show together.

Earlier in the day, Jim Ross suffers a bad fall and he mentioned it on social media. As seen, Ross is sporting a nasty black eye.

Unless something changes, Ross is still scheduled to work the announce table. As for exactly what happened, Ross did not go into details but he might provide more information tonight.

Kevin Kelly and Nigel McGuinness know each other well from their time in Ring Of Honor (ROH). Perhaps, their past will allow them to cover most of the action while Ross chimes-in.

Ross has not been seen too much lately on AEW TV. In the early days of the promotion, he was heavily spotted as part of the announce team for AEW Dynamite. The company has changed the three person duo several times over the years.
