The PFL added another international fighter to the roster with the signing of Cedric Doumbe, while Combate Global placed two more fights on an upcoming card.
PFL signs Cedric Doumbe to global roster
Plans for the PFL to continue to expand across the globe now include international fighter Cedric Doumbe.
The promotion announced the signing of Doumbe, a Cameroonian-born French MMA and kickboxing star, to the welterweight roster.
Doumbe, 30 years old, is a former Glory welterweight kickboxing champion and owns 75 wins in that sport with 45 knockouts. He is unbeaten in MMA since transitioning to the sport.
“Cedric Doumbe is one of the greatest athletes in the world and a tremendous addition to the Professional Fighters League global roster,” PFL President of Fighter Operations Ray Sefo said. “Cedric dominated the sport of kickboxing and is poised to do the same in MMA. He is one of the most talented fighters in the world and will make an immediate impact here in the PFL.”
Doumbe was featured on the Netflix series “The Circle France” for his skills. He is expected to be in attendance at a PFL Europe event on September 30 in Paris, France.

Combate Global adds two new bouts to Saturday’s fight card
Unbeaten fighter Ramiro Jimenez will face Nico Barna this Saturday night when Combate Global returns.
The event features atomweight fighters Ana Palacios and Chihiro Sawada in the main event live on Paramount+. The event takes place from Miami.
Jimenez is 6-0 in his career and owns five first round stoppages. His opponent, Barna, is 7-2 and will be making his U.S. debut.
Another fight added will see Katie Perez face off against Stephanie Irurzo.
Saturday’s card has a Mexico vs. Japan tagline as Palacios is from Mexico City and Swada is from Tokyo. Palacios is 7-1-1 in her career, while Sawada is unbeaten over four fights since turning to MMA following a standout career as a collegiate wrestler.
Other matches for the event include Victor Valenzuela vs. Shinsho Anzai and Geralbert Castillo vs. Yuji Yannick.
