After a drama-filled 2022 that led to his retirement, there is said to be a Vince McMahon documentary coming soon. Plus, what is Brandi Rhodes’ contract status?
Vince McMahon Documentary Soon
In this day and age of times when we all love a good train wreck, this one shouldn’t surprise anyone. A Vince McMahon documentary is said to be coming soon.
According to PWInsider, Vice TV is said to have a documentary on McMahon coming this year.
Nothing has been announced or otherwise been made official via Vice’s normal channels.
However, PWInsider noted it had heard about this project from multiple sources, including those interviewed for it.
Per the report, we could see this Vince McMahon documentary as soon as October. As in…very soon.
If, somehow, you missed it…
Early in 2022, reports started bubbling up that McMahon had paid off a handful of women.
It didn’t take too long for more reports to come out. As each one surfaced, the reports were more and more damning.
At the time, McMahon remained defiant. He popped up on RAW and SmackDown, cutting some rather bizarre promos.
And then, as the accountants began to truly connect the dots, things started to cave in. Once the hush money amounts-and source-began to come into focus, McMahon was done.
He resigned abruptly just before a July SmackDown. Shortly after, it became clear that McMahon used at least $12 million in WWE corporate funds as hush money.
There is a silver lining to the resignation: Triple H went from on the outs to calling the shots, and WWE programming has been a lot more watchable.
And, now we have at least one Vince McMahon documentary coming soon to look forward to, too.
Brandi Rhodes Status?
The couple left AEW early in 2022 to much fanfare. We know about her husband, but what is Brandi Rhodes’ status?
When news broke that Cody Rhodes was coming back to WWE, it was expected that Brandi Rhodes would also sign a WWE contract for something.
Per Fightful, that has not yet happened.
This is interesting, for a couple reasons.
For one, it was reported that, over the summer, Brandi worked a match in the WWE Performance Center.
However, she was not then, and is not now, a WWE Superstar. Not yet at least.
At this point, she remains a free agent. So free, in fact, that Warner executives have reportedly remained in contact with Rhodes.

This may mean nothing, or it may mean something.
It is entirely possible that Brandi Rhodes is mulling over television projects that are not involved with AEW, but involve Warner-Discovery.
Considering how she was treated prior to her AEW exit, I cannot imagine there’s any interest from either side in a reunion.
Especially considering her husband, though currently recovering from an injury, is now a top WWE Superstar.
