At WrestleMania 38, WWE pulled off what seemed impossible. They convinced Steve Austin to wrestle after 19 years against Kevin Owens.

The final segment of Wrestlemania Night One, with the KO Show, quickly turned into a No Holds Barred Match. Austin looked great and Owens was the perfect opponent to take the bumps.

In what is now Austin’s final match, both he and Owens were praised. They went 15 minutes and entertained fans from start to finish.

Despite Austin vs Owens being what many call the highlight of the weekend, one person is jealous. And, that is actually Owens.

While speaking to metro.co.uk, Owens praised working with Austins as a dream accomplished. Still, he loved what his best friend, Sami Zayn, produced with Johnny Knoxville and the Jackass crew.

“I love the Jackass movies, I’ve always loved them, I’ve been a fan of Johnny Knoxville for a long time,” said Owens. “The fact that Sami gets to do this with him is so awesome.”

“If I wasn’t in the ring with Stone Cold this weekend, I’d be real bitter and jealous! It’s all good, I’m happy for him.”

Owens did not win, but he is part of a WrestleMania 38 moment. Clips of their match will be played for many years to come.

Zayn lost to Knoxville thanks to Jackass cast, although the match was well received because of the humor. Both Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens had memorable moments at the grandest stage of them all, WrestleMania.

WWE has released so many names over the past two years, it has became hard to track. Two of those superstars came from NXT and then only lasted a short time on the main roster.

Keith Lee and Swerve Strickland landed in AEW pretty quick after their WWE non-compete clause expired. So far, they have worked together opposite Team Taz.

Tony Khan was on Rasslin’ with Brandon F. Walker, where he could not fathom how anyone would let Lee or Swerve go.

“Also, speaking of established stars coming in, Swerve Strickland and right before that Keith Lee,” said Khan. “I can’t believe these guys got fired by any wrestling company in the world.”

“I don’t know what the hell you’re thinking if you run a wrestling company and you don’t have a spot for Swerve Strickland and Keith Lee.”

“So, I get that there are only so many positions in a company. but I think any company that has those guys and, you know, it wasn’t like they’re unreasonable guys.”

“They’re great! I love both guys. They’ve been a huge part of what we’re doing here now, too.”

Yes, the AEW roster is crowded. Although, since they did not renew some deals, it leaves more TV time for one of their three weekly AEW shows.
