‘Twas the season of Christmas, which means…it’s time for us to look at the 2021 Naughty or Nice list. Let’s find out who’s been good…or not so good, shall we?

After all, some things from the past 12 months make certain decisions quite easy, I think we can all agree.

So, with no further delay…let’s talk about who’s made the 2021 naughty or nice list!

WNZ’s 2021 Naughty Or Nice List: Who’s Been Good…Or Not?

Let’s start off with the bad folks, shall we?

Ric Flair

In fairness, this one seems almost like it’s been on tape-delay.

The Nature Boy lands here for things that happened a few decades ago. Not fair, right?

Perhaps not…but when his bad behavior came into a new light thanks to “Dark Side of the Ring”, then he’s fair game.

Charlotte Flair

I am all for keeping the Flair theme here.

While not as abhorrent as her own dad…Charlotte seems to be a little bit naughty this year.

What did it for me? That whole belt tossing incident, and the follow up that people on the blue brand feel “stuck” with her.

AEW SFX Team

Not much to rip AEW on this year, but have to have a little fun with the folks within AEW who handle the special effects and such.

That infamous exploding ring? Or that “steel” plate?

I mean, it’s a small lump of coal compared to the other members of this list…but they still earned their spot.

Tony Khan

Sure, why not. I mean, he is not the worst Khan on this list…

But, some in WWE feel he’s going to burn through money like WCW did. He has so far…not proven them wrong.

Also, he (and his dad) have ripped WWE for their “contracts”. But then went in a similar direction with one of their other now-former employees.

Overall, he probably does not get a huge lump of coal…but he’s under consideration.

Vince McMahon

It would not be a naughty list without the boss, would it?

I don’t think it is possible. However…he’s not even the worst on the list.

Now, why did Vince land here this year (as opposed to years past?)?

For one, this is a personal reason. He ruined the black and gold brand.

As someone who long was a fan of what Hunter’s NXT was…the NXT 2.0 reboot stings.

Some of that isn’t all bad…but too much of it is. While some talent looks like “can’t miss”, even those can’t miss guys are green.

Like…Bron Breakker…fell off the turnbuckle. In an NXT Championship match.

On top of that, we could blame Vince for putting his son in law in the hospital. He probably didn’t…but who knows?

And then, there’s this…it’s Vince’s fault we are enduring what is being done by the new heir apparent.

Nick Khan

See, if Vince is on the list…Nick Khan is the top name on it. After all, it’s Vince’s fault we are watching Nick Khan ruin things.

Yes, budget cuts are sometimes a necessary evil. However, look at the sheer roster brutality that has happened under Nick Khan over the last couple years.

So many of his cuts were inexplicable. One week we hear how Hit Row will be huge on the main roster after they got drafted.

The next week? All of them are released.

One of the company’s top merch movers? Bray Wyatt is now looking for a new home.

All told, it feels like we saw hundreds released over the year. Maybe it wasn’t, but there were a lot.

Some made sense…a lot not so much.

I seriously doubt anyone will argue with me on his being on the list…he was pretty naughty, even if some think he’s good for business.

And now..who’s been good?

This one should be good, right? It’s in the headline…

Bryan Danielson

He left WWE, which for fans of Daniel Bryan, sucks.

However, he was classy on his way out. And, he left so that he can enjoy new rivalries and a style which, apparently, he couldn’t employ in WWE.

My WNZ peers

Sure, go for the cheap pop. But I kind of always do, and they truly earn it.

From Joe and Dorathy, to Martha and the rest of the support folks…I am thankful for the team I get to work with and for.

Titus O’Neil

Sure, he has not done much lately in the ring. And perhaps he will always be remembered for that wipe out on the way to the ring…

But, he probably hasn’t gotten near enough credit for the good stuff he does for WWE in the community. Seems to be a genuinely good guy.

CM Punk

Maybe you like him, maybe you don’t. Perhaps you argue that his return has not moved the needle all that much.

Either way, it’s hard to say he doesn’t belong on the good list.

For one thing, he’s given wrestling fans what many have wanted for years-him, back in pro wrestling.

And, for another? His return means we no longer hear those CM Punk chants from fans wanting him back…because he’s back.

Tamara Mensah-Stock

For all the hype her Olympic teammate got when he signed with WWE…I feel she’s more deserving of being on the Nice list.

Why?

Remember when WWE brought her out to SummerSlam for the nice pop? Think back to just how exuberant she was.

She was super happy and excited, and I truly hope we get to see her enthusiasm and athletic talent in a WWE ring soon.

Big E

Rounding out my top folks on the Nice list is current WWE Champion Big E.

Why is he here? Because he waited and worked hard, and when he cashed in and won the title?

Talk about a nice moment.

I mean, cash in moments are great, usually. But as much as I worried that him announcing he was doing it would spoil it…it did not.

For me, it was one of the best moments in wrestling all year.

Need more proof how good a moment it was, just think back to all the congrats he got, from all over the wrestling world.

So, that’s the highlights, good and bad, from the 2021 naughty or nice list. Not a comprehensive one by any stretch, but a summary all the same!

Have a happy and safe holiday everyone!!
