The Bella Twins retold a story where WWE ignored them and they were upset enough to leave. Also, Charlotte Flair and Andrade are back together after a short break.
Bella Twins Upset At WWE
Before the women’s revolution, WWE had the Divas Championship. Unfortunately, the title was given little respect with short matches.
Then, WWE brought in the Bella Twins (Brie Bella and Nikki Bella) in 2007. The twins were on Wrestling with Freddie and mentioned how they only showcased their skills in the ring during live events and were regulated to only minutes on TV.
“When we first signed with WWE, and we made it TV finally, we re-did a five-year contract,” said Nikki Bella. “So, we were on TV for five years and our five years were coming up.”
“I remember at that point, Brie and I just did not like how women were treated in WWE. Two-minute matches. but were allowed ten minutes on live events. While we were working hard on live events, we were never allowed a showcase on TV and our stories didn’t have depth and we just weren’t treated right.”
With their contracts shortly up, they tried to speak with WWE management. They were met with comments by WWE that they were working on it.
Meanwhile, the two decided to stop asking. Basically, they would let faith decide what would be next.
Bella Twins So Upset They Did Not Re-Sign With WWE
WWE continued to do nothing, while Nikki was still champion. Therefore, she dropped the title to Layla after notifying WWE they would not re-sign.
“Sure enough, the reason why I dropped it to Layla in Chicago out of nowhere was that I was like ‘I’m not signing’” said Nikki. “They were like ‘we’ll give you these stories’ and I was like, you couldn’t even have a conversation with me.”
“I remember we’d just had this conversation and I said ‘we’re leaving.’ They still probably thought Brie and I were going to sign after the show or that week, they kept calling. Literally, when we left RAW in Chicago, after the championship match, we left and that was it.”
They returned a year later and remained until 2019. During that time, they were better used.
They became champions and even feuded with each other. Nowadays, both are busy with their children and many projects outside of wrestling.
The two have hinted at a return, but that might not be medically possible.
Charlotte Flair And Andrade Together Again
Almost a year ago to the day, Andrade and Charlotte Flair became engaged. Then, they seemed to go their separate ways over the past month.
Well, something has happened as the two are apparently back together. They sent a post together, wishing everyone a nice holiday.

Charlotte is the SmackDown Women’s Champion for WWE, but she has been dealing with problems. Seemingly, many backstage are not happy with how “The Queen” carries herself.
Andrade left WWE and signed with AEW, where he is still looking to make a statement. He had a great feud with PAC, although not much else has happened.
It is nice to see the couple patch things up during the holidays. As for the engagement, no word if it is still on.
