Damien Priest Return Update

According to a report from Fightful Select, Damien Priest could return to the ring, very soon. In fact, as early as the next edition of RAW.

Priest has not been in action since the May 17th edition of RAW. He defeated John Morrison during a Lumberjack Match.

The rumors of a back injury keeping him from action were denied in the report. The reason for his absence was not disclosed.

Damien Priest’s Injury Update

The report did indicate he was healing from something. It’s also noted that WWE officials are hoping that Priest could be a part of Money in the Bank qualifying matches.

As it stands now, Riddle, Morrison, and Ricochet have all qualified for three RAW spots for the Men’s match. Next week, the Red brand features a Second Chance Triple Threat qualifying bout for that last spot (there are four in total).

Right now, Randy Orton, AJ Styles, and Drew McIntyre on in that match. Can Priest find a way to squeeze himself in?

Speaking of RAW, Nikki Cross debuted a new gimmick last night. Her husband Killian Dain offered his thoughts on the super-hero character.

Her promo before the bout set this new gimmick up. She stated she’s felt a “spark” inside her lately, following recent wins over Rhea Ripley and Charlotte Flair.

WWE NXT Superstar Killian Dain, Nikki’s hubby, jumped on Twitter. He offered some insight into Cross’s new character.

As you can see, he was very supportive of his wife’s new persona. He also made it clear that it was her idea.

Cross Tweeted, Too!

Nikki hopped on Twitter today, too. She revealed in a tweet that bringing this character to life has brought her a ton of joy.

She also stated that she’s been on a “roll” as of late. This gave her the “boost” she needed to unveil her new look.

Cross indicated that everyone has a “spark”. She went on to note that you can try anything, and listen to your heart.

Nikki added in the post that she wants to “blossom” like a butterfly. She also noted that she wants “us all to”, as well.

Beautiful and inspirational words from Cross. Here’s hoping that she keeps riding the current wave she’s on.

Nikki joined NXT in 2016, as a part of the SAnitY faction. She blew fans away with her mentally unstable character.

She hopped to the main roster two years later in 2018. She experienced some great success when she teamed up with Alexa Bliss.

The duo would win the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships, twice. Here’s hoping she gets a taste of singles gold, soon!
