We have reached the second night of WWE WrestleMania 37. It has been a long week, so let us get right to the report card.

WWE WrestleMania 37 Report Card: Grades Are In From Night Two!

The Fiend vs. Randy Orton

A few years back, Bray Wyatt and Randy Orton battled in a lame WWE Championship match. The big difference this time around is The Fiend gimmick.

Within 30 seconds, WWE was able to wash-off that burnt attire. The match was certainly full of surprises.

The damn red light was back and it appears Alexa Bliss turned on The Fiend. I did not like the booking, but it seemingly helps WWE write The Fiend off TV for a bit. Grade: B-

Women’s Tag Team Championship: Nia Jax & Shayna Baszler vs. Natalya & Tamina

On night one of WrestleMania 37, Natalya & Tamina won tag turmoil to earn the title shot. Two of the longest tenured female superstars were getting a shot at the belts.

Man, did Natalya take some of the biggest shots in the match. She got drilled with a knee to the face by Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax slammed her to the mat.

In the end, the champions kept the gold. Overall, the match was better than I thought. Grade: B

RAW Women’s Championship Match: Asuka vs. Rhea Ripley

For the second year in a row, Rhea Riley was booked in a big title match. It is possible Charlotte Flair’s battle with COVID allowed Ripley to get placed in a title bout.

Both women were big stars in NXT and hoped to carry that on the main roster. An aggressive match between the two, but the live crowd did not seemed interested.

Ripley walks out as champion and has already been positioned as a star. As for Asuka, she is still searching for that WrestleMania moment. Grade: B+

United States Championship: Riddle vs. Sheamus

Honestly, I did not think much of the match ahead of time. Although, Riddle and Sheamus quickly proved me wrong.

A good match that got better as time went on. Riddle might have lost, but there was no shame in defeat.

Good kick to the jaw by Sheamus at the end. Riddle left with a bloodied mouth and Sheamus is once again United States Champion. Grade: B+

Intercontinental Championship in a Nigerian Drum Fight: Big E vs. Apollo Crews

For the first time ever, we got a Nigerian Drum Fight. Basically, it was No Disqualification match.

Big E was the hometown boy and got a special entrance from Wale. Despite the ridiculous gimmick, the match was hard-hitting.

It was a vicious match and I liked the new aggression from Apollo Crews. The outside inference might not have been needed. Grade: B+

Universal Championship: Roman Reigns vs. Edge vs. Daniel Bryan

Heading into the main event, I had no clue who would leave as Universal Champion. All three superstars have a valid point in winning.

What an action packed match, with great use of the triple threat rules. Plenty of near falls as all three worked so well together.

The biggest weekend of the year concluded with Roman Reigns still champion. Great conclusion to WrestleMania 37. Grade: A-

Kevin Owens vs. Sami Zayn

Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn have done battle around the world. Plus, they feuded in WWE for a good two years before moving into new programs.

Seemingly, WWE put them in a match together as they lacked opponents. Sure enough, they have not missed a beat.

Post-match is what will get WWE plenty of attention. Owens landed a stunner on Logan Paul, who did a nice job taking the bump. Grade: A-
