In the world of professional wrestling, there are plenty of bloopers that actually made it onto WWE television.
The are 10 of the bloopers we like best!
Akeem Takes A Dive
No matter how much planning is done before a match, sometimes things can go wrong. And it most certainly did for Akeem when he was wrestling alongside Big Bossman.
Before hitting a double team on Randy Save in the ring, Akeem and Bossman head for the ropes. Unfortunately, this is where it went wrong.

Akeem did not bounce back in the ring from the ropes, but rather went through it. As a result, the 350 pound wrestler fell onto the floor.
Hogan Messes Up WrestleMania Location
There are many wrestling bloopers that occur during a wrestling match and end up on WWE television. However, there are also a lot of bloopers that happen due to a slip of the tongue.
Hulk Hogan is one of the men that encountered this particular phenomenon. During WrestleMania, Hogan got the name of the arena wrong.

While fans were terribly amused, Hogan was quite embarrassed by his mistake. And then things got even worse when Stone Cold and The Rock would have a laugh at Hogan’s expense.
Hogan Makes Another Line Mistake
The Hulkster has a bit of a history when it comes down to messing up lines. So, it is no wonder he made it into our overview.
During an episode of SmackDown 2003, Hogan messed up his line. Instead of saying he was the right guy in the right place at the right time, it came out a little… wrong…

Hogan messed up his line three times in total. Needless to say, it was a promo that will go down in history for all the wrong reasons.
Mean Gene Swears Away
One of the worst things to happen on WWE television is swearing. Unfortunately, this is why Gene Okerlund ended up in our list of WWE wrestling bloopers.
While interviewing Rick Rude before his match with the Ultimate Warrior, a banner came down in the background. Okerlund was obviously startled and yelled out a profanity on television.

Obviously, this was something Gene Okerlund had never done before. Fans were talking about it for months afterwards, and it is still an iconic moment today.
WrestleMania Loses Light
When the Undertaker makes his entrance, the lights always go off. Obviously, it does not happen for most people’s entrances aside from The Fiend.
Sometimes, the lights go off without any good reason. In fact, this happened in the middle of a match at WrestleMania 24.
During a match between Melina Perez, Beth Phoenix, Ashley Massaro and Maria, the entire arena went dark. WWE eventually had to put a spotlight on the ring so the show could continue.
Despite the lack of light, WrestleMania 24 did end up having some unique lighting that was reminiscent of the 80’s. The perfect crossover between old and modern.
Kalisto Has Promo Problems
When Kalisto was drafted to the SmackDown brand, he was interviewed backstage. When the announcer asked him for a reaction, Kalisto got just a little tongue tied.

Since the promo, the following epic line is remembered by fans.
“Hey, like I said, I’m here, to stay. And make … make a … uh … make a good … uh, a good luchas … uh, lucha thing.”
Obviously, English is not Kalisto’s first language, so it is understandable he messed up when he was nervous. And despite the awkwardness of the promo, it was memorable for all WWE fans watching.
A Shirt Of A Problem
While Lex Luger was quite impressive physically, he was not that impressive when it came to talking on the microphone.
Luger messed up nearly all his lines during an interview. And things got worse shortly after that.

After messing up several lines of his promo, he tried to take off his T-shirt. Unfortunately, his T-shirt ended up being too tight and not coming off easily.
Needless to say, the promo soon went viral on the internet and Luger never lived it down.
Ill-Timed Bump
Wrestlers know how to sell a move from their opponent. Of course, for this move to work perfectly, it has to be timed perfectly.
Unfortunately, Batista encountered a little problem with timing during a match with John Cena and Mark Henry.
Batista was about to powerbomb John Cena, but Mark Henry came to Cena’s aid. And while Batista took a bump from Henry, he did do it in the weirdest way possible.

Well, even the most experienced wrestlers can make a dreadful mistake from time to time. At least this one was funny!
The Shockmaster
When you think of wrestling bloopers that made it to television, you can’t forget about the Shockmaster. In fact, even fans who just got into wrestling are probably familiar with this moment.
When making his debut in WCW, the Shockmaster was supposed to burst through the wall and look scary. But in the end, he actually fell over and his helmet came off.
[video_player type=”youtube” id=”Fahljd_0xjA” playerid=”b4Kcmo16″ ratio=”landscape” credit=”” crediturl=””]
Unfortunately, the entrance blooper did cost the Shockmaster his new character. Of course, his failed entrance also proved forever that a debut really makes a difference in the world of professional wrestling.
Orton Needs A Script!
Even the WWE’s residential maniac can forget his lines. In fact, it happened to Randy Orton when he faced Sheamus in 2013.
During an episode of Monday Night Raw, Orton actually asked Sheamus what his line was. The funny thing about the entire incident is that both men stayed in character while casually having a conversation about their lines.
[video_player type=”youtube” id=”5eHK4rhItXQ” playerid=”b4Kcmo16″ ratio=”landscape” credit=”” crediturl=””]
Of course, this video does show that both Sheamus and Orton are true veterans. While some beginners would start to panic or even laugh they forgot their lines, both men stayed as calm as a cucumber.
Maybe this one should be shown in Vince’s promo class?
