Garza chose the most opportune time to pop the question to his now fiancé. He captured the Cruiserweight Championship moments before popping the question to his girlfriend Zaide.
Angel Garza beat Lio Rush for the Cruiserweight Championship during this week’s episode of NXT. So, he will enjoy two memorable moments on the same day.

Before we tell you a little more about Angel Garza, we would like to congratulate Humberto (Angel Garza) and his fiancé Zaide on their engagement. We wish them lots of happiness in the future.
Who Is Humberto Garza Solano?
While Garza may be relatively unknown among the WWE Universe, there is a lot to know about this NXT wrestler. Here’s the lowdown on this amazing talent.
Garza was born in Monterrey, Mexico on September 23, 1992. He comes from quite the well-known wrestling family, as he is the grandson of Mike Segura a.k.a. El Ninja. His uncles are Humberto Garza Jr., Hector Garza, and El Ninja Jr. He also has several cousins who are professional wrestlers.
Coming from a famous wrestling family, it is no surprise that he was trained by his grandfather. He also received training from El Hijo del Gladiator. When he made his wrestling debut, he used the name El Hijo del Ninja, which translates to “The Son of the Ninja.”
Garza spent most of his wrestling years in the Mexican wrestling circuit. He wrestled for numerous Mexican wrestling promotions, the best known one was Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide.
Angel would eventually break through on the American circuit when he started wrestling for Impact Wrestling in 2017. He remained with the promotion until 2018. He then signed a contract with WWE on April 18, 2019.
The Future of Angel Garza
The personal life of Garza is not the only thing that is going great. Winning the Cruiserweight Championship is a big deal, especially since he only signed with a the WWE in the beginning of 2019.
Even though the Cruiserweight Championship is his first title in the WWE, we doubt it will be the last.
I would not be surprised to see him with the North American title at some point. And, he is well on his way to capture a main roster title as well. Of course, his success on the main roster does not depend on his skill or his ability, but on Vince McMahon. He would not be the first amazing talent to get lost in the mix because Vince simply does not see his or her value. Let’s hope that does not happen to Angel Garza.
