Hell in a Cell Results Are Available! Who Took The Gold?

Hell In A Cell 2019

Despite being right on some of the matches, there were some surprises during Hell in a Cell. Here’s the lowdown on one of the most exciting pay-per-views of the year.

Surprise of the Night at Hell in a Cell: Sasha Banks Versus Becky Lynch

Hell in a Cell

The match that was the biggest surprise to me was the one between Sasha Banks and Becky Lynch. Not only was this the match that delivered the most in terms of genuine Hell in a Cell matches, Lynch actually retained her title. As it is believed Lynch will move to SmackDown, this was a massive surprise to me.

Roman Reigns & Daniel Bryan Versus Rowan and Harper

Roman Reigns

This was another surprise. As Rowan and Harper only made it back recently, I was convinced they were going to take the win. It also turned into a tornado tag team, which was amazing. Nevertheless, Reigns and Bryan took the win here, despite the recent return of Harper and Rowan.

Mustafa Ali Versus Randy Orton

Randy Orton

I have to admit that I was a little disappointed in this match, mainly with the outcome. Ali is one of the best wrestlers on the roster at the moment, yet he still hasn’t won a major match. Either way, Randy Orton took the win during this solid effort match.

Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross Versus The Kabuki Warriors

Hell in a Cell Kabuki Warriors

Even though I genuinely enjoyed Nikki Cross and Alexa Bliss as the champions, I am also happy The Kabuki Warriors are finally getting some attention. By using the green mist trick, Asuka took the win for The Kabuki Warriors.

The Viking Raiders and Braun Strowman Versus The O.C.

Tyson Fury Wrestling For WWE

This match at Hell in a Cell seems to have been a tease for another potential match, more specifically Tyson Fury versus Braun Strowman. Strowman knocked out AJ Styles with a vicious right hand, which once again hinted at Tyson Fury. Unfortunately, this match ended with a disqualification, but a good win for The Viking Raiders and Braun Strowman.

Chad Gable Versus King Corbin

Hell in a Cell

I only have one thing to say about this Hell in a Cell match. Gable! Gable! Gable!

Charlotte Versus Bayley

Charlotte

As expected, Charlotte beat Bayley for the SmackDown Women’s Championship at Hell in a Cell. Charlotte is quickly going down as the best female wrestler in history.

Seth Rollins Versus The Fiend

When the WWE does not want to hurt the career of either wrestler in the ring, they are quick to call upon a disqualification. The same happened in this match. As both Rollins and The Fiend are fan favorites, Rollins retained by disqualification at Hell in a Cell.

Naturally, a disqualification for the main event never goes down well with fans in attendance. After plenty of booing, fans would chant the names of rivaling wrestling companies. Needless to say, I think the WWE regret ever making this match. They should know better than trying to put through a DQ at Hell in a Cell, but there you go. It is certainly noticeable that the company was more focused on SmackDown Live.
