‘- As storylines on the Red brand have been focusing on Wrestlemania 35 as of late, more specifically Ronda Rousey’s RAW Women’s Championship match and her program with Becky Lynch/Charlotte Flair, the buildup to the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view and that title bout has been swept under the rug.
That being said, Rousey’s opponent this Sunday, Ruby Riott, has taken it upon herself to create some much-needed hype for the match, making her voice known on social media, with shots fired at Ronda.
My title match was announced via tweet.
The matches announced for Wrestlemania don’t even have me as a possible contender.
I’ve been underrated & disregarded.
But after I beat @RondaRousey this Sunday, I won’t be overlooked again.
And @MsCharlotteWWE I’ll see you at Wrestlemania— Ruby Riott (@RubyRiottWWE) February 13, 2019
Who cares about what’s best for business or what these people want?! You’re so focused on giving the #WomensEvolution what they deserve, that you’re not even looking at #EliminationChamber. So I’ll gladly take your title & main event #Wrestlemania whether they like it or not. https://t.co/aLZSBJWtey

Ronda would banter back to Riott, with the below:
And so would Riott:
Interestingly enough, SmackDown LIVE superstar Lana would chime into the Twitter feud, with some comments about Ronda Rousey as well. Whether Lana is getting involved for some innocent fun, or because she might slightly be jealous around the fact that reports indicate that she and hubby Rusev are out of E!’s reality television show as regular cast mates and Rousey and Sonya DeVille are in, is questionable. Regardless, Lana’s posts below:
I would be thrilled if you took her place ! So overrated she is ! ? I mean she claims to change the game yet she can’t bring ratings …. soooo ummm ?

She ? percent change the game in UFC but this is WWE and she hasn’t changed the game here

I am just saying I rather have Ruby as champion. Hate me for that ! I don’t care. Everyone hates me anyways ?

Of course, it’s not a real Twitter war until the Queen herself joins in. Charlotte Flair also got involved in it all, and of course, Riott responded to her post:
FINALLY someone with some sense! https://t.co/LpnWMxGZNo

Should be interesting to see just want happens this Sunday, and if Ronda Rousey versus Ruby Riott changes the game on the Road to Wrestlemania.
