‘- The wrestling world is currently grieving the death of iconic WWE announcer “Mean” Gene Okerlund who passed away on Tuesday, January 2nd. More details have emerged around the reason behind his death, as his son, Todd Okerlund, recently confirmed via TMZ that his dad was getting weaker after a fall he suffered at home.
The best partner I ever had. We never rehearsed or did anything scripted from a writer. Gene would ask me “hey big man what do u want to do?” I would always answer “just follow you brother” and it worked from 1980 – 2017. RIP my brother HH pic.twitter.com/OBtn6NxT1E

Okerlund was then admitted into a nursing home, and was there for four days before he began having issues breathing; he was immediately taken to the hospital. Gene’s long-time wife, Jeane, was with him while he passed on.
On behalf of the entire staff here at WNZ, our thoughts and prayers are with the Okerlund family during this difficult time. Rest in peace, Mean Gene, you will forever be remembered in our hearts.
– Everyone knows that The Man loves nothing more than a good fight, and while she does love a battle in the ring, she also loves a good bantering on Twitter; which keeps her fans entertained on social media. Having said that, Becky Lynch had a nice good one recently via some tweeting rants to Corey Graves.
It all started when Bayley sent out a post on Twitter reflecting on this year, and offered a nice 2019 message to her fans. Graves would reply to that tweet by (jokingly) stating he hopes for a “romance” angle between him and The Hugger in the new year. Bayley never replied to the post, but a fan would post something about wishing Graves would have a romance angle with Becky Lynch. This is where the tweets would fly left, right, and center. See below:
I can’t wait for our “romance” angle.

Wish you could have some romance angle with @BeckyLynchWWE https://t.co/De80cwQFel

Of all the things I could “use” in my life right now, a romance with a middle-aged emo poured into skinny jeans isn’t one of them. Maybe you should wait till Monday to reply, you know, when you’ll have help with what to say.

Graves would post this, some hours later:
…and I look damn fine in these skinny jeans.
