‘- Earlier in the month, Rhyno and Heath Slater were forced to compete against each other by RAW General Manager elect Baron Corbin with the loser being fired from RAW. The quick match saw Slater get the win and Rhyno was fired. During the commercial break, Rhyno addressed the live crowd and said he was retiring. Some thought he was working the live crowd and made those comments to sell the angle or would at least rejoin the NXT brand.
Now, it seems like Rhyno was working the crowd. At a live event this week from Tennessee, Rhyno appeared and hit a gore on Curt Hawkins. Since Hawkins has been working mostly as a face, there is a chance Rhyno returns a heel. Of course, WWE could be using the live events to see how the fans react to Rhyno as a heel.
One idea is that Rhyno could return to TV and work opposite Slater or the first ever SmackDown Tag Team Champions could be forced to align with Corbin. There is decent chance that Slater and Rhyno find themselves getting involved in tonight’s Tables, Ladders and Chairs Match against Corbin.
– There is an undisclosed illness that has been affecting WWE wrestlers such as Finn Balor and Alexa Bliss. It caused Balor to leave the overseas tour early and there was some debate if the first ever Universal Champion would be allowed to wrestle at tonight’s TLC pay per view against Drew McIntyre.
It seems that Balor is good to go as he worked the live event from California on Saturday. He closed the show in a triple threat match with McIntyre and Dolph Ziggler.
