Shocker For Royal Rumble? Vince McMahon Changing RAW Constantly

Shocker For Royal Rumble

‘- The WWE Universe continually looks forward to the Royal Rumble each year, thanks to the surprise entrants (superstar returns and debuts), and the fact that the winner of the match helps to shape the Wrestlemania card in such a huge way.

With the new development that has emerged via the Mixed Match Challenge, that is, the winners of the finals (R-Truth and Carmella versus Jinder Mahal and Alicia Fox) receive a vacay anywhere in the world, and be entered in at number 30 for this year’s men’s and women’s Royal Rumble matches; the stakes around this bout, taking place at the Tables, Ladders, and Chairs (TLC) pay-per-view (PPV), are higher than ever.

Wrestling Observer Radio’s Dave Meltzer chimed in on the 2019 Royal Rumble, stating that he “smells” a swerve on WWE’s part when it comes to that coveted number 30 spot within the men’s bout. It doesn’t sit well with him that the company would just give away the number 30 entrant about a month before the Rumble, especially since that generally is the biggest surprise of the night. He believes that the WWE Universe is in for a huge surprise once the match gets to the final entrant to walk down that ramp, and he may very well be correct in this.

– While Vincent Kennedy McMahon is slowly loosening the WWE reigns to son-in-law Triple H, it’s been said that he’s still the final word when it comes to creative decisions on both pay-per-views and television.

WNZ reported last week that VKM made last-minute changes to the December 3rd edition of Monday Night RAW, which seems to be a growing trend as of late; however, Wrestling Observer Radio’s Dave Meltzer recently stated that McMahon changes his mind quite often, in where Bryan Alvarez retorted that VKM has been doing that ‘forever’. Melzer noted that as of late, it seems to be a lot worse, and this constant altering of creative plans could be the top reason as to why RAW seems to be lacking in the entertainment department, where T.V. ratings are suffering tremendously.

Only time will tell if McMahon will step away from a company he has spent his entire life building into a multi-media conglomerate. It has to be hard to let go, and Vince is clearly passionate about the WWE, so only time will tell.
