Potential Men’s Royal Rumble Winner (Spoiler), WWE Eyeing Ex-ROH Champion

Potential Men’s Royal Rumble Spoiler

‘- As 2018 winds to close, fans have their eyes set on the first WWE Big Four pay-per-view (PPV) of the year, the 2019 Royal Rumble. Taking place in Phoenix, Arizona on January 27th, the event isn’t only a fun and exciting one, it also officially marks the Road to Wrestlemania; a season within the WWE calendar year that the entire WWE Universe looks forward to.

As we all speculate on who may take the coveted women and men’s match, earning said superstar a top-tier title shot on the Grandest Stage of Them All, Wrestling Observer Radio’s Dave Meltzer recently chimed in his idea on who may win the men’s 2019 Royal Rumble, stating it could most likely be Seth Rollins. Reports have surfaced that The Architect is the one being chosen to face current Universal Champion Brock Lesnar, come Wrestlemania 35, so him winning the Rumble seems pretty good.

While Seth Rollins taking the 2019 Royal Rumble men’s match is a great possibility, there are plenty of weeks between now and the Royal Rumble, and so much could change before then.

Wrestling Observer Newsletter recently reported that the WWE is eyeing a former Ring of Honor (ROH) Champion as of late. At 32 years of age, Dalton Castle has a ton of potential, and the company is apparently quite keen on signing the superstar.

With his flamboyant character, Castle seems like a perfect candidate for Vince McMahon to have on his radar. With his experience and in-ring technique, Dalton would undoubtedly prove to be a huge success in both NXT and WWE’s main roster; regardless of the brand he was placed on.

Nothing has yet to be confirmed on either side, but WNZ will stay on this story and keep fans updated around any potential progress as information falls down the pipe.
