After so much speculation and work, we have finally arrived at SmackDown 1,000. While WWE has become accustomed to reaching milestones, they are starting to surpass them. Tonight’s show is full of names from the present and past.
Edge, Undertaker, Kane, Evolution (Triple H, Ric Flair, Randy Orton & Batisita), Mark Henry, Jerry Lawler, Michelle McCool, Torrie Wilson, Vickie Guerrero and Teddy Long are just a few of the superstars confirmed. Rey Mysterio returns as a full time wrestler to take on United States Champion Shinsuke Nakamura in a non-title match. Also advertised in local markets is AJ Styles, Daniel Bryan & Mysterio vs. Randy Orton, The Miz & Nakamura. Plus, Charlotte Flair vs. Becky Lynch and Rusev vs. The Miz have been mentioned. It is possible and likely that at least one of those contests will be a dark match.
