Dolph Ziggler is one of the WWE’s most successful veterans. And, he’s got multiple titles under his name. Still, there might be some Dolph Ziggler facts fans are not aware of yet. So, we listed the best ones for you below!

1. He Dated Nikki Bella
Nikki moved on to John Cena, and then to Artem Chigvintsev, but at one point she was in a committed relationship with Dolph Ziggler. The couple started dating in 2008, after meeting at Florida Championship Wrestling, the former developmental branch of the WWE.
Even though they have broken up, many people claim Ziggler still has an interest in Nikki Bella. I would not be surprised though, because who does not want Nikki? During an episode of Total Divas, Ziggler declared he still has strong feelings for his former girlfriend, stating he could give her kids and marriage, something John Cena was not willing to offer at the time.
Of course, things did not go smoothly for Nikki Bella after leaving Dolph Ziggler. She was engaged to John Cena and was meant to get married in 2018. However, the wedding was canceled only a couple of weeks before it was supposed to take place. Naturally, this left much speculation about a possible reunion between Ziggler and Bella.
2. He Could Have Been a Lawyer
If you have to pick an alternative profession for Dolph Ziggler, one of the last things on your mind would probably be a lawyer. However, this was precisely what Dolph had in mind when he applied for Arizona State University.
Dolph Ziggler graduated from Kent State University with a major in political science and a minor in pre-law. Upon graduation, he was accepted in Arizona State, but the WWE picked up Ziggler before he got started. Funny how certain things go.
3. He Is a Stand-Up Comedian
Ziggler is a man full of surprises. Not only did he intend to go to law school at one point, but he is also a stand-up comedian in his spare time (if a WWE veteran has a lot of extra time at all!)
Dolph made his stand-up debut in Los Angeles in June 2017. He is currently working to build a name in the comedy industry, something that is not that easy to do. However, Ziggler does have some expert TV writers behind him to help him make a name for himself in the comedy business.
4. His Brother Got Signed by the WWE
Many people do not realize that Ziggler has a brother who signed with the WWE! Ziggler’s brother, Ryan Nemeth, wrestled in the former WWE developmental brand, Florida Championship Wrestling under the name Briley Pierce. However, he was released in 2013, so he never got his big break.
One thing I do have to say, when you look at a photograph of Ryan, the resemblance to his brother is uncanny. Just dye those brown locks bleach blonde and you have a twin!
5. He Was in the Spirit Squad
Ziggler was a contributor to one of the most annoying gimmicks in WWE history, the Spirit Squad. Funny enough, Ziggler is the only member of the Spirit Squad who truly made it in the WWE.
