Good news for fans of WWE Superstar Kevin Owens. According to British Newspaper “The Sun“, K.O. has resigned with the company for another five years! So, we will get to see much more of Kevin Owens in the years to come.
Not Going Anywhere
Kevin Owens has been quite vocal about his recent switch to the red brand. K.O. is loving the brand switch, right alongside best friend Sami Zayn.
K.O. told “TVA Sports“:
“Hopefully I do not see why I will not finish my career with WWE. I just recently signed a new five-year contract with them. I do not intend to go anywhere when my contract ends.”
“If the WWE wants to continue, if I want to continue and my family is ready for me to continue, I do not see why it would not happen. If [my career] ends tomorrow, I would be very satisfied with the career I had as a professional wrestler.”
About His Time at Raw and SmackDown Live
Kevin Owens made one of the most impressive main roster debuts in WWE history. He made his debut against John Cena, beating him during one of Cena’s United States Championship open challenges.
Since his arrival on the main roster, Kevin Owens has experienced a bit of a bumpy ride. He was doing quite well on the Raw brand, only to be moved to SmackDown with a re-brand called ‘the New Face of America’. The gimmick died as fast as it came, and even Owens himself has stated that he felt like an outsider on the SmackDown brand.
“When the brand split arrived, it was Raw that I found myself on, so I think my feeling comes from there. I made my Raw debut against John Cena. It seemed like I was an outsider on SmackDown and I was never able to recover from it. There are guys we associate more with Raw or others with SmackDown.”
Still, good things come to those who put in the effort, so it was only a matter of time before Owens found himself on the Raw brand again. Stronger than ever alongside his buddy Sami Zayn, I have high hopes for K.O.’s future. Of course, he must be booked accordingly if we are to enjoy what this WWE Superstar still has to offer us.
