Everyone was hoping Asuka would choose Charlotte at WrestleMania 34, and that dream has now come true! With two such amazing athletes, we can expect a match of epic proportions. But, who will win this amazing battle? Let’s see what the experts at Ringside Intel think!

Sandra’s Predictions

Much like the match between Shinsuke Nakamura and AJ Styles, the potential winner of this match takes a backseat to the match itself. Asuka and Charlotte are undoubtedly two of the best female wrestlers the WWE has at the moment, and pitting them against each other was certainly the smart choice for WrestleMania 34.

Winning the match will not be easy for either of these two competitors, because both are as tough as nails and have a stamina most of us can only dream of. Both have a drive for perfection that is rare in the wrestling businesses, especially once wrestlers have reached the WWE. So, it is no wonder many fans are extremely excited to see the two face each other.

I expect a lot of different styles to come to the surface during the match. There is Asuka’s striking style and submissions, combined with Charlotte’s high-flying and submission moves. They measure up in style as well as skill, so this could become one of the greatest women’s matches the WWE has ever seen. I cannot tell you enough just how excited I am!

So, who will win this match of epic proportions? Well, it does not have to be said that Asuka’s undefeated streak gives her an advantage against Charlotte. I do not believe the WWE will stop her undefeated streak just yet, because I believe Asuka’s popularity is still building. Yes, she is insanely popular already, but she could be even bigger when they let her undefeated streak run a little longer.

As for Charlotte, if she loses the match, there is no reason why she cannot go back to the Raw brand. Alexa Bliss needs some more competition, and who is a more serious competitor than Charlotte? While she could face Asuka again in a rematch after a loss, I believe it is best to wait for both women’s careers. Let’s make this an epic first match in a series of matches over a couple of years and put the women on separate brands after WrestleMania 34.

In conclusion, I believe Asuka will take the win, but it will be a hard-fought win. Charlotte will be moved to Raw and start a rivalry with Alexa Bliss or the new women’s champion if there will be a championship change at WrestleMania 34.

Katie’s Predictions

Asuka vs. Charlotte has been a dream match of mine for some time, so the fact that it’s happening on the grandest stage of them all is something truly spectacular.

As for who will win – or even who I want to win – that I’m not so sure of.

On one hand, I don’t think I’m ready for Asuka’s undefeated streak to end. There’s been nothing like it in WWE history and there likely won’t be anything like it ever again. Additionally, despite her epic streak, Asuka somehow has yet to capture a main roster women’s championship. It only seems fair that she should hold at least one of them before her historic streak comes to an end.

On the other hand, I’ve written before that, against Charlotte at WrestleMania, is the only way I’d be okay with Asuka’s streak coming to an end. A lot of fans think Ronda Rousey will be the one to eventually snap Asuka’s streak, but I will not be on board with that until I see WAY more from Ronda. So again: at this point it time, in my opinion Charlotte is the only woman on WWE’s roster worthy of breaking Asuka’s streak, and WrestleMania is the only stage big enough for her to do it.

But I’m not ready for Asuka to lose yet, and I don’t think WWE’s ready yet, either.

Hunter’s Predictions

It is hard to not think this is the biggest women’s match in WWE history. Yes, even bigger than the first ever “Women’s Title” match at WrestleMania 32. Asuka is coming in as the most dominating force in recent memory. WWE built Asuka to be stronger than any star, male or female, on the roster. She has not lost in her entire time on the WWE roster.

Not only that, but she hasn’t really seen much difficult competition. This will continue in her match against Charlotte. This is a streak that will continue for another year until Asuka and Ronda Rousey meet at WrestleMania 35 in New York (New Jersey). This match will get plenty of time and I expect Asuka’s entrance to be on-par with other megastars.

The formula is there for Charlotte and Asuka to put on the best WWE women’s match ever. The bar continues to rise and the sky is the limit. While Nia and Alexa should be swift, this one will be a slow and violent match. Both of these ladies know how to show up on a big stage. Charlotte is the best American female wrestler who is the marquee female wrestler for WWE. The Queen has overcome the weight of her legacy to stand out on her own. But she can also stand to take a loss here. Asuka is on her way to the top. This will also be a good moment to move Charlotte back to Raw and allow Asuka to run through the Smackdown Women’s Roster for a whole year.
