Seth Rollins and Finn Balor Both Make It To The Elimination Chamber

Elimination Chamber

We all know the WWE likes to be fully prepared for upcoming pay-per-views, but sometimes that preparation comes back to bite them. This seems to be the case for the upcoming Elimination Chamber pay-per-view. A misplaced image is believed to reveal the final participant for the main event match inside the hellacious structure.

The February 12th episode of Raw featured a 4-way “second chance” match among all the losers of the Elimination Chamber qualifying matches. Apollo Crews, Matt Hardy, Finn Balor, and Bray Wyatt will square off for the final spot inside the Chamber. The winner of the Chamber match at the February 25th PPV will face WWE Universial Champion Brock Lesnar at Wrestlemania.

But before the match happened, the “rumored” final participant for the Elimination Chamber came to light when a sharp Reddit user – BBQJackson – discovered a misplaced image on the WWE website that included Finn Balor.

Even though Finn Balor was set as the favorite to win the upcoming match for the final spot in the Elimination Chamber, the plans, as they tend to in WWE, changed.

With Balor and Rollins now in the chamber match, the game is afoot! Of course, if the WWE maintains its plans for WrestleMania, it is already set in stone that Roman Reigns will take on Brock Lesnar and finally take the title away from him.

Still, even if the WWE continues with its original WrestleMania plan, Balor always puts on a good show. Whether he appears as himself or Demon Balor, this guy is guaranteed entertainment.

I must admit though, Balor’s recent appearances on Raw did have me worried. Balor was not his usual excited self over the last couple of weeks. It almost seems like he had given up, among rumors that Vince McMahon believes Finn Balor is not over enough. Even though these stories have provoked quite a reaction from the Balor Club fan base, Finn still needs to get his big shot.

The real problem with Finn Balor on the Raw roster is that he has to compete against the likes of Roman Reigns and Braun Strowman. Vince prefers bigger guys to get the spotlight, and Finn is not quite like most of the buff giants.

Rollins, on the other hand, has been floating around the top for quite some time. His sudden inclusion in the Chamber match is due as much to Jason Jordan’s injury as it is to Seth’s skills in the ring.

Adding to the intrigue will be the fact that there will be seven competitors inside the chamber when normally there is only six. Could seven cause some new excitement or will be a crowd ala 2015 Elimination chamber tag match.

Should Finn get his opportunity and win at Elimination Chamber? Could he be the one to take the title from Lesnar? Or is it Rollins’ time to shine? Let us know your unsalted opinions in the comment section below!
