It is not uncommon for wrestlers to get into fights, especially when they are promoting a future event. It seems Jack Swagger has succeeded in doing just that, especially after starting a brawl during a press conference.
Wrestling for 5-Star Wrestling
For those who have not been following Jack Swagger since his departure from the WWE, Swagger has signed with the British wrestling company 5 Star Wrestling. He currently wrestles under the new name “Jake Hager”, not that original, but still recognizable.
Promotion Leads to Brawl
It seems like Swagger is keeping his American persona on his new promotion. However, since he is wrestling in Great Britain, he is changing his character to a heel once again. His heel persona would cause a brawl during the press conference.
I must admit I am quite tickled by this brawl. The WWE did not use Swagger to his potential, so I’m glad to see Swagger will be at the forefront of this promotion. Even though I’m not a big watcher of 5 Star Wrestling, I will be watching now. Well played guys.
Should I Watch 5 Star Wrestling?
To be honest, it is undoubtedly a good idea. 5 Star Wrestling is known to land some significant stars after they leave their respective promotions, or just before they are picked up by the WWE.
5 Star Wrestling had events with big names such as AJ Styles, Rey Mysterio, Rob Van Dam, Johnny Mundo, Carlito, and other big names in the mainstream and indie wrestling world.
Conclusion
Swagger is doing well, so I am happy to see he is finding himself again in the wrestling industry. His arrival at 5 Star Wrestling is also positive for the English wrestling industry, which still fails to compete with wrestling entertainment in the United States.
In conclusion, I cannot wait to see what Swagger brings to 5 Star Wrestling. The promotion is stopping relatively close to my residence in the UK, so I might pop in at Manchester or Leeds if I get the chance.
