Eight Shocking Backstage Secrets WWE Wants To Hide Forever

Even though there is a lot going on for us wrestling fans already, it is always nice to be nosy and discover some of the current locker room secrets. After some research, I found some interesting facts I believe many readers will be interested in. So, without further ado, here are the current locker room secrets at the WWE!

Balor Is Loved by His Fellow Wrestlers

One of the most respected wrestlers in the WWE locker room right now is certainly Finn Balor, who was surprised to learn many wrestlers rallied behind him after he was forced to lose to Kane. So, it would seem like I’m not the only who is a strong supporter of the Balor Club. Finn is a hard worker, and this certainly plays out backstage.

Sami Zayn Is Dubbed as Annoying

While Finn Balor is considered one of the most popular guys in the locker room, Sami Zayn is considered as annoying. His friend  Kevin Owens has spoken up about this in the past, saying that his best friend’s perfectionism and his need for control can drive many people backstage mad.

Luke Gallows Is Mr. Popularity

Many wrestlers name Luke Gallows as the most popular guy backstage. He seems to have taken on the role of the Undertaker, providing other wrestlers with support and advice when they require it. It’s always nice to have someone at your side, so Luke Gallows is certainly beloved behind the scenes! Who would have thought that such a big muscly guy is truly a fluffy teddy bear?

This next one has long been suspected but is devastating just the same.

WWE Management Want to Destroy Daniel Bryan’s Popularity

Daniel Bryan is one of the most popular wrestling stars, despite the fact he was forced to retire from in-ring competition in WWE due to an injury. However, Daniel Bryan might be going elsewhere to wrestle soon, especially if the WWE does not clear him.

Backstage rumors are rampant about the WWE trying to destroy Bryan’s popularity. If he is about to wrestle elsewhere, the company fears he may take many fans with him. To counter the problem, they are trying to lessen his popularity with subtle heel moves and even less appearances! Of course, there is also some talk of the opposite, claiming the WWE is doing a swerve and providing Daniel Bryan with a future Royal Rumble win.

Enzo and Cass Had Real Issues

Despite the fact the two had been friends for some time, many backstage claim that Enzo and Cass had real issues during their rivalry. Enzo often referred to Cass as a wrestler with a lack of commitment, while Cass called Enzo classless on many occasions. These statements were also made during WWE interviews and mic work before a match, but there was a ring of truth to it according to many people backstage.

Management Does Not Believe in Cesaro

Even though Cesaro is one of the most popular wrestlers today, he does seem to have issues with WWE management. Despite performing excellently and pulling in the crowds, WWE management allegedly does not believe in the Swiss Cyborg at all. Therefore, a big push always seems just out of his reach.

These last two may come as a surprise, but they’ll have big implications for WWE moving forward.

Rusev Is Getting a Push Soon

The locker room is also talking about a push for the Bulgarian Brute Rusev, which is set to happen soon. Given the success of the “Rusev Day” gimmick, management has finally taken notice.

Do Not Mess with Sin Cara!

One of the people you do not want to mess with backstage is Sin Cara, which is a scary dude according to many of the backstage staff!

In the past, there have been some reports on Sin Cara having backstage fights with other wrestlers; this includes Simon Gotch and Chris Jericho. These were genuine fist fights, which would usually see a wrestler fired immediately. Still, the WWE has made an effort with some anger management classes and some close monitoring for the wrestler.
