Here Are The The Worst WWE Matches Of 2017

No matter how much we love wrestling, there is such a thing as a bad wrestling match. Today, I will look a little closer at the worst matches of the year. Do you agree with my list? Read on to find out!

1. Bray Wyatt Vs. Randy Orton at WrestleMania

There is probably no discussion where the worst match of the year is concerned. In my humble opinion, it was the match between Randy Orton and Bray Wyatt at WrestleMania 33.

With the hyped-up WrestleMania crowd looking incredibly bored during this match, and fans taking to Twitter voicing their displeasure shortly after the match, it is clear this match belongs to the worst ones of 2017.

2. Brock Lesnar Vs. Braun Strowman at No Mercy

What could have been a fantastic match, turned into an incredibly dull and painstakingly slow match.  Braun was the only interesting factor in this match but had to lose, so Lesnar retained his title. What a surprise right?

Lesnar’s No Mercy match made it clear that Lesnar has little interest in match preparation. Instead, he huffed and puffed his way through Suplex City; this with a bored crowd looking on.

3. Alexa Bliss Vs. Bayley

WWE’s attempt to be creative with a woman’s match did not pay off in this case because the “Kendo Stick On A Pole” match would go down as one of the worst match ideas of 2017.

While Alexa Bliss continued to rise in the ranks of WWE women’s wrestling, the match did cost Bayley all her momentum. Since this match, Bayley has been struggling to be taken seriously by the WWE Universe, which is a real shame considering she is an excellent wrestler.

4. Team SmackDown Vs. Team Raw at Survivor Series

Another match that got hyped up to no extent, but failed to deliver miserably. The match was packed with big names, including Finn Balor, Samoa Joe, Braun Strowman, and even John Cena. However, these superstars barely got their oar in this match, since the focus lay on Triple H and Shane McMahon throughout the match abomination.

5. House of Horrors Match

Unfortunately, my number two worst match of the year is another match involving Randy Orton and Bray Wyatt. The match was so hyped, and I was honestly excited to see it! However, the match failed to deliver miserably, with a bored crowd and many disappointed viewers as a result.
