There are some titles on the horizon for some WWE wrestlers, at least in my humble opinion. Today, I’m providing my valued readers with a list of WWE wrestlers, of whom I believe may acquire their first title in 2018. Do you agree with me? Read on to find out!
1. Elias Samson
I am hoping and praying for Elias to get his first title reign in 2018. The man has kept me entertained throughout the year, even with some of the weak bookings and pre-show matches he received. Still, I think 2018 will be a good one for Elias.
2. Aleister Black
Despite being on the NXT roster, Aleister Black has championship gold written all over him. If he is not promoted to the main roster soon, I predict he will become the NXT Champion. However, I cannot be a 100% sure about that, since there has been talking about Black receiving an instant upgrade to the main roster.
3. Braun Strowman
If Braun Strowman does not get a title reign in 2018, I will eat my proverbial hat! He has been one of the most exciting wrestlers to watch in 2017, and what other wrestler can say he flipped an ambulance on its side? So, give Braun Strowman that Universal Championship and make Raw a little more interesting!
4. Carmella
I can’t believe I’m saying this, but it is likely Carmella will become the SmackDown Women’s Champion in 2018. She still has the briefcase, and aside from disappearing into the background all the time, I doubt the WWE will do a failed cash-in for the first women’s Money in the Bank briefcase in history. Although, I would not be disappointed if it failed. Don’t get me wrong; I have nothing against Carmella. However, I do not believe she is ready where ring ability is concerned.
5. Adam Cole
Despite arriving in the NXT division recently, independent wrestling superstar Adam Cole has made considerable waves in developmental! Many wrestling journalists, including myself, believe that his title reign is a matter of “when.” So, I’m quite certain that “when” will be 2018.
