Will Dean Betray The Shield?

Rumors about Dean Ambrose betraying the Shield in the nearby future are continuing strong. The WWE seems to be hinting a heel turn for Dean too, which would mean another breakup of huge proportions for the popular tag team. Here’s the story!

Turning on the Shield Before WrestleMania

The Shield

Even though these are unconfirmed rumors from the locker room, they are still worth mentioning here. Unfortunately, it seems like the WWE is seriously considering a Dean Ambrose turn before WrestleMania.

Since the WWE still has their heart set on Roman Reigns taking the title from Brock Lesnar, it seems like they want a separate rivalry for Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose during WrestleMania. For this to happen, they plan to break up the Shield and make Ambrose turn on his buddies.

We do need to mention that the rumors indicate no definite decisions have been made. According to various sources, the WWE is only considering Dean Ambrose betraying the Shield before WrestleMania. So, nothing is set in stone.

Why the Shield Should Not Break Up Again!

Shield

Can the WWE let us enjoy something without having to plan to mess it up already? I have no problems with heel turns on tag teams, but why would you plan to break up a money machine like that already?

Breaking up a tag team – in my opinion – should only be done when their popularity is sinking. Instead, why not abandon the plans of Reigns taking the title from Brock Lesnar and let someone else run with it? I would much prefer a long tag team reign of the Shield instead of a Shield breakup.

There are many people who could take the title from Brock Lesnar before WrestleMania; this includes Samoa Joe, Fin Balor, Jeff Hardy, and Matt Hardy. So, just keep the Shield together!

Conclusion

I think many wrestling fans will agree with me when I say breaking up the Shield is the worst thing the WWE can do at this point. There are so many things to do for the Shield on the RAW roster, including some possible big matches during WrestleMania. The Shield could also keep the tag team division of RAW alive, which has been seriously lacking as of late.

In conclusion, the WWE should step away from their plans of turning Dean Ambrose heel. Let us just enjoy a good thing, instead of planning how to break it up already!
