Tyson Kidd Is Returning To Wrestling!

Fans of Tyson Kidd, a.k.a. T.J. Wilson, will be happy to hear that he’s returning to wrestling – although it won’t be in the ring.

Pro Wrestling Sheet is reporting that Kidd is being poised to return in a non-wrestling capacity, although specific details are unclear as of yet:

According to sources, Kidd is currently being transitioned into a non-wrestling role. Since it’s still fresh, one source says it’s too early to define whether it’ll be behind the scenes —  like a producer/agent — or if he’ll be used in some sort of on-air role that doesn’t require wrestling.

It appears that Kidd began his backstage role recently. As he was photographed alongside his wife.

Kidd suffered a career-ending spinal cord injury during a non-televised match against Samoa Joe in 2015. Unfortunately, the injury occurred just as he was getting a big tag team push alongside Cesaro.

I couldn’t be happier for Kidd. He’s a great wrestler, and while it’s unfortunate that he’ll likely never wrestle again it’s good for him to be involved in the business he loves. Who knows – maybe he’ll appear alongside his wife Natalya as a foil to that pesky James Ellsworth.
