Creepy Vince Made Another Creepy PPV Logo – And They Had to Change It

If you have a rather immature mind – like me – you’ve undoubtedly noticed how the original Great Balls of Fire Logo kind off looked like male genitals. It seems like the WWE has picked up on it finally because the logo of the pay-per-view has changed!

Joke Pay-Per-View

I don’t need to tell you that the announcement of Great Balls of Fire has not been well-received by the WWE Universe. Not only was the name of the pay-per-view a running joke amongst wrestling fans, the fact that Brock Lesnar would only defend his title then has rubbed many people the wrong way – myself included!

It has been so long since we seen Lesnar, I’m finding it hard to remember the WWE Universal Title. At this point, the title has no value to me whatsoever. Unfortunately, it is claimed that Lesnar will hold onto the WWE Universal Title until WrestleMania 34!

What Can We Expect from Great Balls of Fire?

There is no official match card yet. The only match that is confirmed at he moment is the WWE Universal Title match between Brock Lesnar and Samoa Joe. But let’s face it, we already know the outcome of that.

Still, there could be some fun matches worth watching at Great Balls of Fire. There are many possibilities on the internet, so here are my favorite picks for the match card.

From Balls to Fire

You have to admit that the male genitals on the logo were hard to miss, so the person creating this logo might get in a spot of trouble. Still, the WWE seems to step away from their old promotional material now and created a new Great Balls of Fire Logo. Admittedly, the new logo does not nearly look as spectacular as the old one.

R-Truth Vs. Goldust

The rivalry between Goldust and R-Truth is extremely high on my list, so I would love to see this at Great Balls of Fire. Even though I did not like Goldust turning on Truth, I do see glimmers of the old Goldust. So, if they are making Goldust a winning heel, this could be quite interesting!

The Hardy Boyz Vs. Sheamus & Cesaro

The match between the Hardy Boyz and Sheamus & Cesaro was ridiculously good at Extreme Rules. Personally, this was the match of the night for me, so I would not mind seeing this rivalry again at Great Balls of Fire.

The Miz Vs. Roman Reigns/Dean Ambrose

Even though I like Dean Ambrose, I think it is time to move on from the rivalry between him and the Miz. It seems like the WWE is continuing the rivalry at the moment, but there have also been whispers about the Miz Vs. Roman Reigns.

Personally, I would prefer Roman Reigns Vs. the Miz, which is a match that has been in the cards for a long time. Roman is set to get the Intercontinental Title until he faces Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania next year.

What do you think about the Great Balls of Fire logo change? And what matches do you want to see during the next RAW pay-per-view?
