Stone Cold Shoots On Seth Rollins

Stone Cold is not only known as one of the greatest wrestlers of all time, he is always very vocal when it comes to wrestlers on the current WWE roster. During his latest Podcast, Stone Cold had some criticism for Seth Rollins. Unfortunately for Rollins, many wrestling fans seem to agree with Stone Cold.

Who Is Seth Rollins?

Seth Rollins

Since his face turn, many people don’t know what Seth Rollins stands for, at least according to Stone Cold. During his podcasts, Steve Austin said that he doesn’t know what or who Seth Rollins is; this refers to his lack of personality/character.

I’m certainly a supporter of Seth Rollins, but I have to agree with Stone Cold on this one. Even though I think he is starting to develop his character a little more lately, there is much work to be done.

Where the Problem Lies

Seth Rollins

Opposed to many WWE fans who think otherwise, I don’t think Seth is a horrible face. I do believe he is having problems shedding his heel character, which was his best according to many fans.

Most WWE fans will agree with me when I say that being a heel is a lot easier than being a face. When you’re a heel, you can always be a badass. When you’re a face, you are a badass with boundaries. However, this doesn’t mean you can’t be a badass face; just look at Stone Cold!

Use the White

The first thing I would do is get rid of the black ring gear since this is reminiscent of the “old” Seth Rollins. If he truly wants to shed that character and build something different, he could use the white ring attire we saw him in at Summerslam 2015.

Get a Catchphrase

Seth Rollins

Many wrestlers have obtained great success with a catchphrase. Just think about catchphrases such as “Because Stone Cold said so”, “The List of Jericho” and “Drink it in man”. While Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins is not a bad catchphrase, in my opinion, it’s not resonating with most WWE fans.

Move to the Tween Area

Seth Rollins

For Seth Rollins, I believe it’s a bad idea to go babyface. Instead, he should look at being a tween. He can be nice to the fans, but still be a you-know-what against other wrestlers.

At the moment, Seth Rollins is too nice… Let’s face it, he’s been nothing but respectful of his opponents (besides Triple H). Instead, why not let the heel side out when you are speaking to an opponent?

Many superstars have used the tween tactic to get over with the fans; this includes Stone Cold, Chris Jericho, Sasha Banks and Austin Aries.

Conclusion

Seth Rollins

It is clear no fan wants babyface Rollins. He was a terrific heel, but a lousy face. So, if the face turn continues, build yourself up as the student who was betrayed by the master and eventually destroyed him. You have now become the master. Build yourself up as a tween, with badass heel moves for competitors and nothing but niceness for fans. I believe this is the key for Seth to move forward and to build a career even Stone Cold will appreciate!
