“First and Foremost, I want to thank the Hawkeye community for the last five years and let them know I will always be proud to be a Hawkeye,” Glazier said in a statement following the news. “That being said, I am extremely excited about my opportunity at SDSU and look forward to working with Coach Hahn and the rest of the program.”

The Iowa Hawkeyes will lose their starter at 197 pounds. Leaving a major void to fill in the months ahead. On the flip side, the Jackrabbits land a Big Ten Championship runner-up to replace two-time national place winner and 2023 NCAA finalist Tanner Sloan.

South Dakota State University finished 13 at the NCAA Championship earlier this year and had four All-Americans on their roster last season. They are currently ranked 11th in the nation ahead of the new season, while Iowa lands at two.
