A new report claims some WWE wrestlers were not happy with Penta’s Monday Night Raw debut for one specific reason.
For quite some time, the man once known as Pentagon has been viewed as one of the most talented performers outside WWE. During runs in Lucha Underground, TNA, and most recently AEW, the luchador has cultivated a notable fanbase.

Well, on Monday night the former TNA world champion finally made his career dream come true. And made his WWE debut. In this new era led by Paul “Triple H” Levesque and on Netflix, wrestlers have more flexibility with their television time. And to make the most of his first match, the company gave Penta and opponent Chad Gable ample time to put on a great performance.
However, it seems the time used for the bout, and then the former AEW tag champion’s post-fight promo bothered some of his new co-workers.
Penta’s WWE Raw on Netflix debut segment went way longer than expected

On Monday night, PW Insider revealed that “the segments involving Penta ran long, leading to later segments being trimmed for time and that obviously, talents were not thrilled about that.”
That is a bit surprising. Considering RAW on Netflix doesn’t have the time limitations it had on network TV. Well, the outlet explained why that was possible for fans confused that segments can still run over without “hard outs.”
“Yes, WWE is on Netflix now and that brings greater flexibility in terms of when they finish Raw episodes. Last week, they went over three hours. This week, they ended a little over two and a half hours,” Mike Johnson wrote. “In both cases, that is because that’s how WWE decided to time out the shows. And when they wanted to go off the air.
“Yes, WWE no longer has the ‘hard out”‘ of having to be off the air by 10 PM or 11 PM ET the way they would on The USA Network. But that does NOT mean they plan to run endless amounts of time every week.”
Here’s hoping the roster doesn’t hold any grudges against their new co-worker’s mistake.
