WWE Tried To Quiet Karrion Kross Supporters at Monday’s Raw?

Karrion Kross and his wife Scarlett officially hit the free agent market this week despite a notable WWE fanbase. A day after their departure, reports have emerged that WWE took measures to bury traces of their popularity during this week’s WWE Raw.

According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, WWE confiscated Karrion Kross signs during the August 11 edition of Raw. Meltzer also noted that WWE thought the fans would chant for him, but they did not.

“You know they did confiscate some of the signs?” Meltzer said. “I heard from several people at the show, and they said they thought people might chant. Nobody chanted. There were a few signs in the crowd/

“I didn’t see anyone taking them away, and I did see them later in the show, but someone who was there said, ‘Yeah, they absolutely took the signs away.’”

Karrion Kross and Scarlett have become popular attractions in WWE lately. Despite being one of the top merch sellers and commanding major support from fans online, WWE did not book them in prominent programs. Moreover, even in his last storyline against Sami Zayn, Kross took a pair of losses.

Both Kross and Scarlett announced this week their official departures on social media. Furthermore, in a video on his YouTube channel, Kross confirmed that their contracts expired on August 10 and reopened their merchandise store with ProWrestling Tees.

Moreover, the duo has also started taking outside bookings. Since their contract expired and they were not released, Kross and Scarlett did not have a 90-day non-compete clause. With the dynamic pair of real-life husband and wife set to begin a new journey, we will have to wait and see what the future holds for them.
